About the Site

This website is part of a term project by Laura Bang, Treasa Beyer, and Paul Chasen for their Information Technology class at Maryland's College of Information Studies in Spring 2008. This is a prototype site for MyNotreDameStory.com, designed in cooperation with the College of Notre Dame of Maryland's marketing communications team.

Laura designed the graphics for the layout in Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 and Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004, and coded the rest of the site in Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 and MS Notepad.

Help with webdesign and JavaScript codes was obtained from tutorials at w3schools.com and Web Shoppe, and the specific code for embedding the audio/video materials was adapted from David Battino's code here.
