Tomorrow was Tuesday.
A day for dreaming, dancing, defying.
A thousand conversations I've never spoken
Have led me here, to where we aren't.

All my yesterdays fade into uncertainty,
Stretching out before me like a distant question.
All my tomorrows play their memories behind me,
As all the stories in my head fall open.

For one bright moment
I live time in reverse,
So that you are here beside me
Instead of confined to my mind.

I let out the breath I've been holding and
They're only stories again--shining glittering in my eyes.
In a room full of wonders, you are my story,
The one I open again and again.

Tomorrow was Tuesday.
But now tomorrow is gone,
Like a story on the wind.

I live in stories.
